Alessandro de Oliveira Faria

Cofounder of MultiCortex, OITI TECHNOLOGIES, and the Global openSUSE Linux INNOVATOR initiative. He has been a self-taught researcher and innovation enthusiast since 1983 (at age 11). He has been serious about Linux since 1998, along with research and projects in biometrics and computer vision. He has experience in facial biometrics since 2003, Android NDK since 2008, and is one of the pioneers of CUDA in Brazil, artificial neural networks, and neurotechnology since 2009. He is the inventor of the CERTIFACE technology and the EXO AI Linux HPC platform. He has given over 250 lectures, published 14 print articles, and is the author of over 120 articles on the Viva o Linux portal, with over 9 million views. He is a mentor for CybersecurityGirls BR, a professor at FIA, an official member and ambassador of openSUSE Linux Latin America, Chapter Leader of OWASP SP, a technical columnist, an openSUSE Linux AWS engineer, a Global Intel Innovator, a member of the Intel AI Community Board, a notable member of I2AI, a member of the data and AI committee of ABINC, a member of the advisory board of ABRIA, an innovation ambassador for Credicitrus, an Innovation Advisor for Peck Advogados, a founding member of the Instituto Fóton+ for quantum technologies, and a Global Intel Innovator Champion for 2024 and 2025.
