Miguel Diogenes Matrakas

President, CMCTI

A higher education professor since 1998, Miguel Diogenes Matrakas specializes in Computer Programming (C/C++ and Java), Image Processing, and Computer Graphics. He has participated in research and technological development projects in Digital Image Processing, Computer Graphics, and scientific initiation at the Dinâmica das Cataratas University Center (UDC). He holds a Ph.D. in Numerical Methods in Engineering from UFPR, a Master’s degree in Applied Informatics from PUC-PR, a specialization in Data Science and Big Data from Universidade Positivo, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from PUC-PR. He worked at the PTI Foundation on Smart Cities projects and presided over the Municipal Council of Science, Technology, and Innovation (CMCTI-FI) in 2023, representing the Foundation. Since 2022, he has been a member of the Working Group on Methodologies for Smart Cities and serves as secretary of the Steering Committee for the Foz do Iguaçu Sandbox Program (CGPS-FI).
