Sara Carolina Butvilofsky
Tourism Entrepreneur and Provincial Deputy for Misiones
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Tourism with a specialization in International Tourist Commerce (Germany) and a postgraduate degree in Wholesale and Retail Travel Agencies from the Stuttgart Chamber of Tourism Commerce, in addition to multiple training courses in management and leadership in both Argentina and Europe. She is currently a Provincial Deputy for Misiones (2024–2027), where she promotes projects related to local development, productive innovation, and the strengthening of social entrepreneurship. She is the co-founder of SEDAMI – Sedas Misioneras, a sericulture venture recognized by the European Union, and Wachnitz Reisen EVT, a travel agency with over 20 years of experience in Eldorado. Her professional life combines experience in international tourism companies (Kuoni and Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Germany) with a territorial commitment to her home province.
In May 2025, she participated as a panelist at the European Parliament, contributing a regional perspective on major international debates in the panels:
European Union – MERCOSUR Agreement: contributions and positioning from Misiones and the trinational region.
International scenario: Trump 2.0 and the MAGA movement, impacts in Latin America.
Additionally, she has been a speaker at TEDx Eldorado, Misiones Idea, and other regional and international forums.
