Luciano Lourenço
Graphic designer, illustrator, and web designer
Graphic designer, illustrator, and web designer with extensive experience. I’ve been involved with Latinoware since the 2006 edition, contributing to the website (using Drupal at the time), and creating wallpapers and banners. Starting in 2007, I joined the organization as a coordinator for the graphics and multimedia track, securing the participation of key speakers approved by the organizing committee. I also maintained the CMS, updating the design and necessary modules for content and news editors. I created various graphic assets, including community panels and backdrops for the main stage. Since 2007, I have also been a speaker and have taught workshops at every edition of the event until 2022. I participated in the Entrí-SL event, creating its logo and graphic assets for both print and web applications. For ITAIPU Binacional, I provide design and web design services. My work includes customizing CMS templates (Drupal, WordPress, Gallery, Nexcloud), creating wireframes and mockups for content reorganization, and designing and executing manuals and various graphic pieces such as departmental logos, badges, document letterheads, certificates, wallpapers, and images for desktop and web applications. I also participate in other national free software events, including the International Free Software Forum (FISL). There, I work as a graphic and web designer, managing and supervising the production of all printed and digital communication materials, as well as all event signage. All my work, including the projects for Itaipu Binacional, has been created using Free Software to reinforce the methodologies and case studies presented at events like Latinoware. The tools I use include Inkscape, Gimp, Scribus, LibreOffice, and Blender, all running on Ubuntu and Debian GNU/Linux distributions.
