Alex Canziani

With extensive experience in public administration and known for his work in the areas of education, technology, and innovation, Alex Canziani has served as president of the Londrina Development Institute (Codel) since October 2022. A native of Londrina, Canziani holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the State University of Londrina (UEL) and a specialization in People Management from the UniFil University Center. The Secretary of Innovation began his political career as a city councilor in Londrina’s legislative body, where he served for two terms—from 1989 to 1992 and from 1993 to 1996—and was president of the Londrina City Council in 1993. Subsequently, he was the vice-mayor of Londrina starting in 1996, a period during which he first served as president of Codel, between 1997 and 1998. At the state level, he served as the Secretary of Employment and Labor Relations of Paraná in 1999. Canziani also served as a federal deputy for five terms—1999-2003, 2003-2007, 2007-2011, 2011-2015, and 2015-2019.
