Rodne de Oliveira Lima is a sociologist and lawyer. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and a law degree from the State University of Londrina, where he also specialized in State Law. He holds a master’s degree in Sociology from the State University of Campinas, and a master’s degree in Law and a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of São Paulo. He has experience in rural sociology, sociology of development, public policies, public law, health law, and bioethics. He began his professional career in agricultural research, serving as a scientific researcher at the Agricultural Economics Institute, part of the São Paulo State Secretariat of Agriculture. For two decades, he was a professor at the State University of Londrina (UEL). He has extensive experience in public management, having served as Pro-Rector of Human Resources at UEL (2002-2006), Chief of Staff for the Municipality of Londrina – PR (2006-2010), and General Coordinator of Institutional Articulation and Management at the Ministry of Communications (2013-2014).
Since 2014, he has been a professor at the Federal University of Latin American Integration (UNILA). At the institution, he has served as coordinator of the Public Health undergraduate program and leader of the Evidence-Based Public Health research group.
