Professor and Researcher

PhD (2022) in Energy and Sustainability from the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Energy and Sustainability (PPGIES) at the Federal University of Latin American Integration (UNILA). Master’s degree (2008) in Computer Science from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). Bachelor’s degree (2006) in Computer Science from the State University of Western Paraná (UNIOESTE). He is a professor in the Graduate Program in Applied Physics (PPGFISA) and also in PPGIES/UNILA. He has been an Associate Professor I at UNILA since 2011, teaching computer science courses for 14 undergraduate programs. He was the Coordinator of Information Technology at UNILA. He is a founding researcher of the Applied Computing Laboratory (LACA). He is a reviewer for international journals, such as IEEE Latin America Transactions and Energy, Energies MDPI, Sustainability and Society, and Sustainable Energy Research (Springer Nature), among others. He works on interdisciplinary research projects, applying methods and techniques from Computer Science, especially Artificial Intelligence, as well as developing software for computers and mobile computational devices.
